I am an IT professional in a K-12 school district. I dabbled with Linux annually since 1993, but in 2006 decided it was time to migrate to using it full time. As I explored Linux I also explored other FOSS software and have become active in the global FOSS community. I have been an Ubuntu Member since January of 2009 and am currently serving on the Ubuntu Community Council. I believe in giving back to projects I utilize at work or at home.
